Utilizing the global infrastucture provided by MCI, Spire I.T. Consulting provides dial-up connectivity in 40+ countries and more than 3,000+ locations worldwide.

How does the Spire I.T. Consulting Global Dial-up service work ?

When you sign up for our dial-up service, you receive one dial-up Internet access account. You can dial-up and connect to the Internet from any one of the Points of Presence (PoP) on the global network located in major business centers around the world using your assigned username and password. Once logged in, you will be able to browse the Internet, send and retrieve your email messages, as well as send and receive files.
 

MCI is continually expanding its global coverage and improving the performance of its network, though the maximum modem speed supported will vary from country to country. Each International PoP currently supports modem speeds of at least 28.8 Kbps. Spire I.T. Consulting cannot guarantee the availability of any PoP, though we will strive to keep the PoP list accurate and complete. Access numbers are also liable to change. Please refer to the International PoP list for current details before you travel.

How do I connect to the Internet via Dial-up service?
Users who want to connect to the Internet can dial one of the Points of Presence numbers on the global network located in the major business centers around the world.

For US $24.95 per month, you get unlimited Internet access service. Spire I.T. Consulting is not responsible for phone charges associated with your use of our services. Please note that in some countries, phone calls are metered for certain locations. For additional assistance on determining these charges, please contact your local telephone company for applicable tariffs.

What happens when I am traveling outside my country?

Since there are no roaming charges when using dial-up access, you can connect to the Internet without any extra charges from any one of 3000+ locations. You are only responsible for any additional phone charges when dialing a number outside a local area. For additional assistance on determining these charges, please check the list of numbers you can call in the area you will be traveling to, and then contact the local telephone company for applicable tariffs. If, for example, you are traveling to Paris, France from New York, you can log on to the Internet by dialing a local number in Paris. You would not need to pay Spire I.T. Consulting an additional charge for using the ISP connection in Paris.
